Bookmarks To Go { 0 }

I wanted to get all my bookmarks on my newest tech device, the ipod Touch.

Solution:
I’ve been using the Firefox extension xMarks and I see it also works with the Safari browser (and Explorer). So, I installed the extension from xmarks, changed my iTunes preferences to sync Safari bookmarks, plugged my iPod in and synced.

From the last 10 years, I have hundreds of bookmarks if not thousands so the first sync took some time. Now, I have all my bookmarks in my pocket and I’m not slaved to just one browser when I surf & and want to bookmark a link.

Benefits:

  • I have bookmarks online from any browser
  • With Xmarks I can share any of my bookmarks easily with an RSS link too.
  • I have bookmarks synced on my two main browsers, on my laptop and on my mobile devise with Safari browser.

How do you manage your bookmark collection and sync it across multiple devises and/or browsers?
